Now Hiring Student Academic Technology Consultants

Academic Technology for FAS is currently accepting applications from Harvard students who are interested in educational technology. Student consultants usually work between 5 and 10 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 20 hours per week during the summer, and focus on consulting, outreach, and software development. To claim your site, visit your list of Fall courses in my.harvard.edu, launch the course website, and follow the setup checklist. Be sure to publish your site as soon as you’re ready so that students can begin visiting it.

With the conclusion of the two-year Teaching and Learning Technologies (TLT) Strategic Program, including the very successful University-wide implementation of Canvas, HUIT has reintegrated the TLT team with Academic Technology Services (AcTS) to form HUIT Academic Technology. In this exercise, we seized opportunities to realign AcTS to better support the teaching, learning and research needs of the University, and to meet HUIT’s fundamental goals to enhance IT service delivery at Harvard and provide greater support to our IT professionals.

We're Moving!

This fall, after over a decade in the same space, the Academic Technology team is moving. Beginning the first week in August, you will be able to find us in Science Center suite 142, on the first floor just inside the Oxford Street entrance (next to the Museum of Historical Scientific Instruments).
