If you are teaching a Fall 2017 course, your Canvas site has been created and is ready to be set up! To claim your site, visit your list of Fall courses in my.harvard.edu, launch the course website, and follow the setup checklist. Be sure to publish your site as soon as you’re ready so that students can begin visiting it.
Whether you're faculty, staff, or a teaching fellow, Academic Technology for FAS is available to assist you with setting up and administering your course site. We offer training, consultation, and workshops by appointment, and have a handy set of handouts available to help you tackle some common Canvas tasks, from site administration, to calendaring, to communicating with students, to managing assignments and grading. In the weeks leading up to the beginning of the fall term, we will be providing regularly-scheduled basic and advanced Canvas workshops.
