Digital Teaching Methods: Tools for Assignments and Activities provides a hands-on introduction to the thoughtful integration of digital tools and methods into teaching and learning (free registration via the Harvard Training Portal). This workshop, which is open to faculty, staff, and students, runs from 9am-3pm and is made up of optional sessions covering several digital tools and approaches.

Scalar is a free, open source authoring and publishing platform designed to make it easy for authors and instructors to assemble media from multiple sources and juxtapose them with their own writing in a variety of ways, with minimal technical expertise required. This workshop is focused on adapting existing course assignments to Scalar.
