Google Apps

Google Apps for Education is used widely for student collaboration on both a small and a large scale.

For example, students can:

  • Collaborate on written work, presentations, or datasets
  • Use Google Spreadsheets to organize data that can be integrated with Timelines and Maps for course projects
  • Use Google Sites for simple web hosting for projects, groups, etc.
  • Use Google Hangouts for simple web conferencing

Get Started

  • Students with @college.harvard.edu or @mail.harvard.edu email addresses automatically have access to these tools
  • FAS faculty and GSAS students can create accounts, and get more information and help, at g.harvard.edu
