George Qiao
George joined the FAS Academic Technology Group in 2023. He previously worked as a high school STEM teacher, where he specialized in project-based learning. With ATG, he develops custom technology solutions to address unique teaching challenges, with projects ranging from digital galleries for Harvard Yard Archaeology and a peer review system for Applied Physics courses. His work also includes exploring available technologies for adoption at Harvard, and workshops for instructors and staff on teaching with online tools.
George is a member of Harvard's Teaching and Learning Consortium and serves as a teaching assistant for undergraduate computer science courses, including COMPSCI 32 and COMPSCI 1210.
Outside of work, he enjoys reading and writing poetry, powerlifting, and antiquing.
