AI at Harvard: The Essentials (FAS)

Start here if you're new to using generative AI for work tasks, if you're a new Harvard employee, or if you want a review and refresher on best practices and guidelines.

What's covered in this session:

• Generative AI (GAI) tools available to Harvard employees
• Guidelines for protecting privacy and data security when using GAI tools
• Ethical considerations for using AI at work
• Introduction to basic AI terms and concepts

Audience: This session is appropriate for those with no prior experience using GAI tools and those who have not use GAI tools for work tasks before. It is also recommended for employees new to Harvard and/or FAS, even if they have prior GAI experience.
