    Canvas Masters: Grading and Assignments in Canvas

    In this hands-on workshop, you’ll discover how easy and efficient it can be to create and grade assignments using Canvas. This workshop will introduce participants to several features of Assignments and Grades in Canvas, including differentiating due dates, setting up an assignment dropbox, applying rubrics, and using SpeedGrader.

    Participants should bring a laptop and a syllabus that is ideally already associated with a Spring 2017 Canvas site. If you don’t have one available, we can provide you with a test site.

    Since the adoption of Canvas at Harvard, student surveys have highlighted the Calendar tool as one of the most popular Canvas features. Through its powerful dynamic capabilities, the Canvas Calendar keeps both teachers and students focused and up to the task. In this highly hands-on workshop, participants will learn how the Calendar can be used to post a course schedule, assignments, and online sign-ups for a wide variety of course events.
