Web-based, interactive timelines provide effective platforms for visualizing, publishing, and researching chronological narratives. Key events can easily be coupled with text, images, and video to produce content-rich entry points in a wide variety of academic disciplines; [here are some examples in the FAS](/news/technologies/timelines).
