DESCRIPTION:<p>	<drupal-media data-entity-type="media" data-entity-uuid="59472062-6027-492f-b4ab-d4d155071f57" data-align="right" alt="Logo for September 17, 2019 Mirador 3 workshop, 2-3pm at Lamont Library B-30" data-view-mode="hwp_small"></drupal-media>Harvard serves millions of digitized images via the <a data-url="https://atg.fas.harvard.edu/iiif" href="internal:/iiif" target="_blank" title="Link to the Academic Technology for FAS's International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) information page ">International Image Interoperability Framework</a> (IIIF) standard and played a key role in developing <a data-url="https://iiif.harvard.edu/mirador-viewer/" href="https://iiif.harvard.edu/mirador-viewer/" target="_blank" title="link to the Mirador page on Harvard's International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) website">Mirador</a>, one of the most widely-used IIIF image viewers.</p><p>	Mirador is utilized in <a href="https://images.hollis.harvard.edu/">Hollis Images</a>, the Harvard Library Image Viewer, <a href="https://curiosity.lib.harvard.edu/">CURIOSity Digital Collections</a>, HarvardX, <a data-url="https://atg.fas.harvard.edu/iiif" href="internal:/iiif" target="_blank" title="link to Academic Technology for FAS's International Image Interoperability (IIIF) information page">Canvas</a>, the <a data-url="https://iiif.harvard.edu/collaborators/harvard-art-museums/" href="https://iiif.harvard.edu/collaborators/harvard-art-museums/" target="_blank" title="">Harvard Art Museums</a>, and more.</p><p>	Come learn about the latest Mirador developments from Rashmi Singhal, Director of Arts and Humanities Research Computing, and Stuart Snydman, Managing Director of Library Technology Services.</p><p>	There will be plenty of time for Q&amp;A as well as feedback, which will help us better understand our user community as we explore adopting Mirador 3 at Harvard.</p><p>	<em>This event is free and registration is not required.</em></p>
