# SSL Errors in Firefox 37

April 02, 2015

We've become aware of an incompatibility between Firefox 37 (latest version) and some of the network hardware operated by the HUIT Network Operations Center. When logging into iSites, Harvard Wikis, or Beta Blogs with the newest version of Firefox users may see the following certificate error:

![Secure Connection Failure message screen in Firefox 37 when accessing Harvard LMS ](/sites/g/files/omnuum11326/files/styles/hwp_1_1__720x720_scale/public/fas-acadtech/files/4a8aa0ee-3cfe-4a2c-90fd-88f0cc9ed56b_1.png?itok=KxaLQmz0)

This is not a security concern; student, faculty, and staff data are not affected by this error.

In the meantime we ask that users make use of another internet browser, such as Chrome or Safari, to access these Harvard services.

Feel free to [contact us](/contact_us) if you have any questions.
