ATG is collaborating with HarvardX developers to bring you the Annotation Tool that has been used in the EdX platform for MOOCs. This will allow on-campus instructors to set up text assignments within Canvas so that students can annotate and start an online dialog with classmates and instructors about interpretation of a text.

This will replace the Collaborative Annotation Tool (CATool) that was available in iSites.

We are piloting this in Canvas for the Fall 2015. Please contact <atg@fas.harvard.edu> if you are interested in using this in your class as part of the pilot.

## Canvas Syllabus Template

To help students make informed course choices, all Spring 2024 Canvas sites were pre-populated with a standard course information template.

If this content was erased or overwritten during site setup, you can use the text on our [Registration Reminders page](/registration-reminders "Registration Reminders") to replace it.

## Remote-Ready Contingency Planning

[**iew our Contingency Planning guide**](/contingency-planning "Contingency Planning: Remote Readiness When You Need It") for some of the tools, practices, training, and resources that are available to help you teach remotely when needed.
