#  Adding Apps to Canvas 

 



External applications, developed here at Harvard and elsewhere, can add functionality and content to your Canvas course website. You can explore available apps in Instructure's [EduAppCenter](https://www.eduappcenter.com/), and you can learn more about using the Canvas App Center in the [Canvas Guides](https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-12854-4152121979).

#### **To add apps to your Canvas site:**

**1)** Navigate to **Settings**, click the **Apps** tab, and select the application you'd like to install

**2)** Click **+ Add App** on the application page

**3)** If you already know the credentials for the app you're adding, enter them here and click **Add App**. If you're prompted for a **Key** and **Secret** and don't have the proper credentials, contact <atg@fas.harvard.edu> to obtain this information and to complete the app installation
