WordMapper is a multilingual text annotation tool developed in 2016 by the Academic Technology for FAS team. Academic Technology for FAS currently supports two annotation-related toolsets that can be added to Canvas course sites. Click below to learn more about each, and contact atg@fas.harvard.edu with any questions.

VoiceThread allows multiple people to view multimedia content and exchange ideas via text or recording. 

We will be piloting a version of VoiceThread for Canvas for the Fall term of 2015.

ATG is collaborating with HarvardX developers to bring you the  Annotation Tool that has been used in the EdX platform for MOOCs.   This will allow on-campus instructors to set up text assignments within Canvas so that students can annotate and start an online dialog with classmates and instructors about interpretation of a text.

This will replace the Collaborative Annotation Tool (CATool) that was available in iSites.
