Using the Art of Numbers to Predict the Weather

The goal of this project was to produce a web-based mobile application that would:

  • Give students a visual representation of the weather forecast based on modern forecasting services (e.g., the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, or NOAA) and past weather predictions
  • Offer students an opportunity to select data to download and experiment with on their own
  • Provide a quick-and-easy interface to these data
